MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan’s directors Maldini and Massara are aiming to close the renewal deal for midfielder Franck Kessie this summer to tie him down as he has been a leader for this squad this past season. His current contract expires in the summer of 2022 and although talks have been ongoing, no major steps have been taken as his entourage in requesting about 6 million euros per year while Milan are offering 3.5 million euros per year. Talks are scheduled for the coming weeks and hopefully an agreement can be found.
Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that allowing Gianluigi Donnarumma to leave gives Milan a bit more flexibility financially which could benefit the talks with Kessie. The quote Kessie’s demands at 5 million euros.
Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that the Rossoneri will look to double the offer from his current wage next offering 4 million euros a year while the player currently earns 2.2 million euros. It remains to be seen if this convinces the palyer.
