Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan have accelerated their pursuit for LOSC Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan after securing their place in next season’s UEFA Champions League. Maignan just won the Ligue 1 this weekend but has reportedly been blocked by Milan on the market for weeks now.

The report notes that it is likely that Gianluigi Donnarumma leaves on a bosman this summer despite securing UCL football as the offer of the club and the demands of the player and his agent are too far apart.

Milan reportedly have an agreement with Lille for 15 million euros plus bonuses for the keeper and a contract ready worth 3 million euros a year for 5 years. The report goes on to note that the announcement will arrive soon.

Daniele Longo who is providing the report also added on Twitter that there is generally a lack fo optimism around the talks for Donnarumma at this stage.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Maignan has arrived in Milan for his medicals with the Rossoneri today.
