Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan’s no. 10 Hakan Calhanoglu has received a blockbuster offer from Al Duhail in Qatar. The midfielder’s contract expires this summer and is being offered a 3 year deal worth 8 million euros per year - which is about double what Milan are offering for a renewal. The deal will also include an 8 million euro signing on bonus taking the total package up to a whopping 32 million euros.
Calcio Mercato previously reported that Calhanoglu has been negotiating a renewal deal with Milan but that his demands have not been met and Juventus’ offer is tempting. The Bianconeri have put 5 million euros per year on the table which is a huge boost to the player’s current wage and any offer Milan have made. The results of the top four race in Italy could also have an impact on this saga. Milan have currently offered a maximum of 4 million euros per year to the trequartista.
Daniele Longo is reporting that a deal is close to being agreed.
