Saturday the 15th of May 2021 will be a day to remember to AC Milan fans if all goes well. Milan’s men team will face Cagliari at the San Siro and the Milan women’s team play Sassuolo at Vismara with Champions League qualification on the line and within reach for both sides. It will be a historic day if both teams manage to win as three points would guarantee each respective side a spot in Europe’s premier competition.

Milan’s men would mathematically guarantee their place in the UCL with a win as they have a better H2H record with Juventus. This would mark a return to the competition after 7 years with their last participation coming in the 2013/14 season.

Milan’s women are in a critical situation as they have a 6 pointer against 3rd placed Sassuolo. A win would put them six points clear in 2nd place with just a game to go hence securing qualification. This would be a historic occasion as it would mark the first time the Rossonere ever feature in the UCL.

Fingers crossed!
