Alfredo Pedulla via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan continue to monitor Napoli left back Elseid Hysaj who could be available on a free transfer this summer. Milan have been lacking depth at that position but have a starter in Theo Hernandez at that spot. The report notes that the Albania international is requesting 3 million euros per season but will likely accept an offer for about 2.5 million euros. Pedulla goes onto to state that Milan would rather gamble on Hysaj than spend 20 million euros on Diogo Dalot from Manchester United for that position.
The player’s agent Mario Giuffredi spoke on Radio Punto Nuovo via Calcio Mercato to say:
“Let’s move on. Hysaj’s future is still uncertain. Hysaj could go to many teams. His destiny has not yet been written. Unfortunately, to outline Hysaj’s future we need to put some pieces on the coaches. Is it true about Milan’s interest? No comment.”
