Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are considering a move for Atalanta attacking midfielder Matteo Pessina this summer. Milan would like to re-sign him after selling him to Atalanta as part of the deal for right back Andrea Conti in 2017. They note that another player could return from Atalanta back to Milan in Mattia Caldara who has struggled with injury since returning.
Nicolo Schira is now reporting that Atalanta would consider selling the young attacking midfielder in the summer despite exercising their option to extend his contract until 2024. Milan will be forced to pay about 15 million euros as Atalanta are expected to value him at 30 million euros. Milan would get him at half price as they have a 50% sell on clause for the former Primavera player. A number of clubs are interested in the player and this could lead to a market frenzy in the summer.
