MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan could welcome back striker Mario Mandzukic after weeks out with injury. The former Juventus, Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid striker joined the club in January to reinforce the attack but has struggled to remain fit leading him to play just 158 minutes of football for the Rossoneri in which he is yet to register a goal nor an assist. He has played in just 5 games in 3 months.
The striker has been out with a muscular injury but returned to training with the group yesterday hence could be present for the fixture against Parma this weekend. He will be returning to the squad alongside two other attackers in Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz giving manager Stefano Pioli many more options in attack for a critical part of the season. Mandzukic has just 9 games to go with Milan before the management made a decision on whether or not to renew his contract this summer.
