Sky Italia are reporting that AC Milan are in a stalemate over the contract renewal of trequartista Hakan Calhanoglu who will be free to leave on a bosman transfer this summer. The deal seems to be complicated and Milan are standing firm on their 4 million euro per year offer. The Turkey international is requesting 5 million euros and is not willing to lower this by much. His exit is becoming more likely with Juventus lurking but others such as Arsenal and Chelsea showing some interest.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that Juventus have spoken to the entourage of Calhanoglu throwing their hat into the ring to sign him for free if an agreement is not found.
Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that a resolution is expected soon but note that Milan have begun looking at alternatives in Josip Ilicic from Atalanta and Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow to fill in the position if the renewal flops.
