AC Milan Have Reportedly Agreed To Renew The Contract Of Veteran Striker For Another Year

The striker has hit double figures rather easily this season and has been a solid addition to the squad since his return last year.

Manuele Baiocchini is reporting that AC Milan have agreed terms with striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a one year renewal at the same economic terms of his current deal. He notes that the signature will arrive in about 10 days.

Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that the deal could be signed today with the announcement being made imminently. The 39 year old is excited to continue with the Rossoneri and will reportedly receive 6.5 million euros plus 500k in bonuses.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Ibrahimovic’s renewal is an indication of faith in the current project and the aim of continuity.

The striker has scored 17 goals and provided 2 assists in 24 games across all competitions this season averaging a goal every 101 minutes. He also received his first call up to the Swedish national team in over five years since he retired where he provided 2 assists in 2 games thus far this season.
