AC Milan face Sassuolo at the San Siro as Stefano Pioli’s men look to keep hold of their relatively good form in recent weeks. A number of players will be missing hence there seems to be a significant rotation in the midfield and attack. Milan will need to avoid conceding to have a chance to win this one.

Players to Watch

Ante Rebic

He has two goals in the past two games and looks sharp again. He will need to bear the burden of leading the attack once again in the absence of Ibrahimovic. Sassuolo will be much harder to break down compared to Genoa and Parma. He will need to use his speed and direct approach to bag another early goal or Milan will struggle.

Domenico Berardi

The Italy international loves to punish Milan and enjoys doing it at the San Siro even more. He will be going up against a tired Hernandez or a raw Dalot. Either way it seems to be an equation working in his favour. Tomori will need to work overtime to be keep Donnarumma safe and to keep Milan ahead throughout the game.

Soualiho Meite

Meite is the wildcard in this game. Bennacer is out injured and Tonali looks to be benched. Meite has been the architect of a number of mistakes and blunders despite his improved performances. If he does a good job in midfield limiting Boga and Obiang then we have a chance to grab and hold onto a lead. He will need to be resolute in supporting the defence and free Kessie to drive up with the attack.

Prediction: Milan 1 - 0 Sassuolo
