MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan right back Davide Calabria returned to training with the group much sooner than expected following his knee surgery last month. The defender has been one of the top players for Milan this season and they have visibly struggled on that wing in his absence. The defender has shown how good he can be defensively and has been increasingly efficient in attack this season.

The defender was expected to be out for at least 30 days following the minor knee surgery but has come back much quicker and will be expected to return in the final week of April possibly in the game against Lazio on the 26th. Given his current progress, he could return in one of the upcoming match days perhaps this weekend.

The defender has 32 appearances in all competitions this season scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists both in Serie A thus far.
