STARTING LINE-UP

Gianluigi Donnarumma: Odd game for him. Some good saves but some fluffed attempts such as the 87th minute. 5.5/10

Pierre Kalulu: He should’ve been MOTM if he remained on the pitch. He looked good defensively, he provided an assist and his passing was solid. He is getting more confident going forward and is now a slid RB option. 6.5/10

Simon Kjaer: A good performance. Hats off to him for the goal line clearance. 7/10

Fikayo Tomori: Another top performance from him. His pace and understanding are staggering. Once again, hats off for the goal line clearance. 7/10

Theo Hernandez: He had a pretty average game, he remained largely anonymous and didn’t hit his stride. 5/10

Franck Kessie: He has been so dominant is recent months. He looked solid recovering possession for us and had a few cracks at goal. 6/10

Ismael Bennacer: Good performance from him. It was tough to keep the ball moving with all the fouls but he did well to push forth regardless. 6/10

Alexis Saelemaekers: The winger pushed forward well but did not create enough in the final third. He passing and interplay has improved significantly. A bit more confidence and he will be solid. 5.5/10

Hakan Calhanoglu: Another bang average performance. He is struggling to hit his stride and the team is suffering as a result. 5/10

Ante Rebic: What a goal and what a miss from him. An impactful performance where he made use of his chances. 6.5/10

Rafael Leao: A poor display that highlighted his poor decision making in the box and his talent not pulling through when it matters. 5/10

SUBSTITUTES

Diogo Dalot: An odd substitution but he added some pace but not much else. 5.5/10

Mario Mandzukic: He pressed well and held the ball up sufficiently to allow Milan to counter. He forced the own goal and showed his experience. 6.5/10

Brahim Diaz: He started off well but got pushed around toward the end. Not much creativity from him. 5.5/10

Sandro Tonali: He solidified the midfield and pressed the ball forward. He added more physicality which was needed at the end. 6/10

Rade Krunic: He struggled to hold the ball at his feet and messed up an incredible counter. N/A

MANAGER

Stefano Pioli: Good squad choice but poor substitutions. He won the game in a dirty manner but that is what’s needed to close out the season. 6/10
