Stats Overview: Serie A contributions this season:

19 Appearances

2 Goals

3 Assists

Brahim Diaz has yet to play a full 90 minutes in Serie A, yet, he has scored twice and made three goals from open play for AC Milan. Both goals have come in Milan wins, with 1 x Crotone and 1 x Fiorentina as a left-sided winger.

He has enjoyed three assists with 1 helping Milan earn a point against Verona in a 2–2 draw, and added two more in Milan’s win against Torino.

To date Brahim Diaz has started in 11 games, coming into the game as a sub on another 8 separate occasions. In 19 games, 5 contributions is certainly not a small contribution, meaning he has had an impact generally 1 in 4 games.

At 21 years of age, he clearly is not the finished product. Without question, his main skills are dribbling his way out of trouble, while also scoring and assisting when in attacking areas of the field. Physically, he has struggled but does have enough acceleration to get past opposing defenses.

Should Milan Buy Brahim Díaz?

Real Madrid are unlikely to make space for the young Spaniard, and if Milan did want to make the move permanent, it might be possible to negotiate for a discount or extend the loan. 20 million was the discussed figure earlier when both sides agreed to the loan, but it was never decided what the exact fee would be until each side meet again.

With budget restraints likely, a second loan spell for him might be the best scenario for each club, especially with rumours that Milan will be losing their number 10 on a free. What do you think?
