Sky Italia via MilanLive.it are reporting AC Milan are cautiously optimistic for their game against Manchester United on Thursday night in the Europa League. Milan have struggled with injuries in recent weeks and could get some players back for the big game. Mario Mandzukic is reportedly close to a return as he has recovered and joined the group training sessions now. Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu are close to returns as they work on personalised training routines. They also report that Ante Rebic and Theo Hernandez will almost definitely feature on Thursday.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been present at Milanello this week and is being assessed daily for his condition. A return date is uncertain but he is set to miss the first leg against United but could return for the second leg.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Calhanoglu is continuing a personalised program at Milanello but is yet to return to the group training. It remains to be seen if he can make the squad to face United on Thursday.

Sky via MilanNews.it also add that Sandro Tonali has fully recovered and will likely start the game against United.
