MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have managed to get the punishment for winger Ante Rebic reduced from two games to one for his red card suspension sustained in the loss against Napoli a few weeks ago. The hearing was yesterday afternoon and the verdict was issued. The Croatia international will therefore be available to face Sampdoria once we return to Serie A following the international break. Rebic has now served the one game ban by missing the fixture against Fiorentina and has been fined 15,000 euros for remarks made towards the referee.
The decision is an important one for Milan as the player will be a major addition for Stefano Pioli who will want to keep the momentum going and to get onto a winning streak for the final 10 games of the season.
Rebic has 5 goals and 8 assists in 24 games this season and will be hoping for the opportunity to boost those numbers in the final 10 games of the campaign.
