Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are looking to open talks with Torino to sign striker Andrea Belotti in the summer transfer window as a plan for the coming years. Milan want to make this approach irrespective of Zlatan Ibrahmovic’s situation.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Milan and Roma are hot on the trail for the 27 year old striker who Milan have followed in the past. Belotti is a Milan fan and this could be a good move for the club given his experience in Serie A and his solid numbers despite being in a poor squad. The report notes that Urbano Cairo could be forced to sell Belotti for about 30 million euros which is much less than the 100 million asked of Milan in the summer of 2017.

Tuttosport via Calcio Mercato are reporting that Torino are very much open to the sale this summer as they would benefit greatly from 30-40 million euros being invested elsewhere in the squad. Belotti’s contract expires in 2022 but Torino are currently fighting relegation.

Carlo Pellegatti on his channel via MilanLive.it has weighed in saying:

“I don’t think Milan will spend 40 million on Vlahovic. Instead, there could be Belotti as an alternative, with the right figures since it expires in 2022.”
