AC Milan will face Udinese tonight at the San Siro. Milan sit in second place while Udinese are twelfth. Here are some of the key battles to look out for:

Key Battles

Striker vs Centre Back

Fernando Llorente vs Alessio Romagnoli

Llorente has been starting for Udinese and has been used for his hold up play more than anything else. Romagnoli is just returning after a difficult spell and will need to contain him. This is a good opportunity for the captain to step up and show that he can bounce back. Llorente is often tricky and will look to score a messy goal.

Central midfielder vs Central defensive midfielder

Walace vs Franck Kessie

Walace taking on Kessie and Tonali will be an interesting match up. Udinese with their 3-5-2 tend to overload the midfield and play very physically. Kessie will need to impose himself on the midfield to allow Brahim Diaz some space to breath. Arslan and De Paul will also be a handful but Kessie will need to lead and spur the side forward.

Striker vs Goalkeeper

Rafael Leao vs Juan Musso

Leao has a monumental task ahead with a number of big games and him being the no. 1 striker available. The striker will need to fill in Ibrahimovic’s shoes and support Rebic, Diaz and Castillejo to ensure the goals come from one source or another. Musso will be difficult to beat especially given his quick reflexes and his wide reach.

Predictions

Romagnoli Winner

Kessie Winner

Leao Winner
