The AC Milan Women avenged their previous loss against Inter Milan with a resounding 4-1 victory. All four goals were scored by - who else - Valentina Giacinti, who also became the first Milan player to score a hat-trick in the first-half since José Altafini.

This was Giacinti shining for the Rossonere as she scored her 50th goal for the club in it as well. She now has 53 goals for Milan.

The win was a much-needed boost of confidence after their recent losses against both Inter and Juve.

With this win and their previous one over Empoli, Milan have cemented their place as second on the table. They’re still in the running for next season’s Champions League, as they now have a five-point advantage over Sassuolo.

A longer match review will be posted later. For now, just enjoy the highlights.

And Giacinti’s wild post-goal celebration too.

Rejoice Milanisti. The crisis has been averted.
