Antonio Vitiello and Pietro Balzano Prota reported last week that AC Milan were looking to appeal the decision of the Sporting Judge to suspend attacked Ante Rebic for two games following his red card against Napoli in the additional time for disrespectful comments toward the referee. Milan lodged the appeal after seeing the referee’s report hence they feel the decision is harsh and should be reduced to just one game.
Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that the hearing is set for Monday the 29th of March and note that there is optimism that the suspension could be reduced by one game hence Rebic would be available for the game against Sampdoria immediately after the international break. Rebic did not join Croatia for the international break due to an injury hence will be training at Milanello throughout.
