Rossoneri Round Up for Mar 25: AC Milan Rise 28 Place In UEFA Club Coefficient Rankings

AC Milan kicked off the season ranked 81st in the UEFA Club Coefficients and began in the Europa League Qualification round which they surpassed to make it to the group stages. Milan finished top of their group beating out LOSC Lille, Celtic FC and Sparta Praha leading them into the round of 32 where they beat Crvena Zvezda over the two legs on away goals. Milan were knocked out in the round of 16 by Manchester United after a 1-0 home loss. The club picked up 12,000 points for 2017/18 and 7,000 for 2018/19, this season they have an additional 12,000 points lifting them to 53rd place in the club coefficient. A return to the Champions League would guarantee another massive jump next season.
