The desire for an agreement is mutual and Hakan is considering dropping his demands while Milan are considering slightly increasing theirs.

Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan have offered 4.5 million euros to him including bonuses which is a 2 million bump up on his current salary. The request from the player’s agent had been 7 million euros but a compromise seems close.
