La Nazione via Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan have considered the idea of signing Fiorentina midfieder Sofyan Amrabat to join the midfield rotation this summer. Milan are open to consider good opportunities and Amrabat ius a profile who has been watched since he broke out at Hellas Verona and he is a very strong midfielder in the league. He cost La Viola 20 million euros hence they would likely want a comparable sum if not more for him. This may be too costly for Milan given Meite has a significantly lower buy out.
Corriere Fiorentino via Goal are reporting that Amrabat and manager Cesare Prandelli have had a breakdown in relations over an incident and this has resulted in the Morocco international being benched in the past couple of games. The management of Fiorentina backed the manager in this altercation and this could send a message of permanent discord.
Today, the manager has resigned from Fiorentina as per the club website. This could change the circumstances but Milan could keep an eye on the midfielder heading into the summer.
