AC Milan Striker Opens Door For Another One Year Renewal After International Call Up

One more year of Zlatan sounds tempting but we need a back up in place and ready to take over.

La Repubblica via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to renew his contract with the club for another year to return to play in the Champions League for the first time since November 2017. The striker has been called up to his national side after being in retirement since 2016 and an see another milestone to hit.

Ibrahimovic spoke at a press conference upon in Sweden via MilanNews.it and said:

“I am optimistic [about renewing his contract]. A day without Milan players is like a day without my children. This is the relationship we have created. It is as if we were sitting in a room and everyone was waiting for Zlatan to come and tell us what. I want to be part of it. I like the project that Milan is doing right now. It is not the same team as ten years ago, when they bought world players.”
