Calcio e Finanza are reporting on AC Milan’s financial gains from the UEFA Europa League in the 2020/21 season. Milan have racked up a total of 11.09 million euros but this excludes the market pool share which will emerge toward the end of the season.

Milan picked up 5.99 million euros in bonuses from the tournament. 2.92 million of this is from participation and 3.07 million for their historical ranking. Milan received 2.47 million euros for their results in the group stage as follows: 570k per win (4 wins) and 190k for the draw. Then they received a 1 million euro bonus for finishing atop Group H and an additional 500k for qualifying to the round of 32. Milan earned 1.1 million euros for beating Crvena Zvezda and qualifying for the round of 16.

This is an important revenue source for the Rossoneri and could have been significantly more if they progressed into the last 8.
