Bruno Andrade of A Bola this past winter transfer window reported that AC Milan were monitoring FC Porto winger and trequartista Otavio for a potential bosman deal in the summer. He noted a figure of 1.5 million euros on a 4 year deal.
Nicolo Schira is reporting that Milan have progressed significantly with the agent of Otavio and are offering him a 4 year contract worth 3 million euros per year until 2025. The 26 year old Brazil international is a high priority for Milan as they look to upgrade over Samu Castillejo and Alexis Saelemaekers in attack.
Gianluigi Longari of SportItalia is reporting that Milan have had contacts with the agent of Otavio and the response has been positive. He notes that there is a small distance between Milan’s offer and the demads of the player at the moment but notes that the gap is being closed.
Otavio has not signalled any desire to renew his contract with Porto hence Milan have a serious chance but bear in mind that there is lots of competition for his signature.
