MilanNews.it are reporting on the injury of AC Milan’s veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the game against AS Roma this past weekend. The former Sweden international seems to have had a reoccurrence of the injury that had previously side-lined him in the first half of the season. The problem is with a muscle strain on his left adductor.

After the initial assessments made yesterday, the striker is set to miss at least 10 days as he will be rested for that period prior to new tests being undertaken which is a huge blow to Milan given the packed schedule of games this month. Milan are facing Udinese, Hellas Verona and Manchester United games all in the next ten days. Napoli and the second leg against United follow shortly thereafter.

Some good news filtered yesterday as no significant problems were found with Ante Rebic meaning he could be available for all the games Ibrahimovic misses pairing up with Rafael Leao to give the Rossoneri some fire power up front until Mario Mandzukic returns.
