AC Milan Women took on Pink Bari on the road this weekend as they continue to look to hold onto their Champions League spot. The Rossonere went into the game as favourites and did not disappoint coming away with a huge 6-1 win. The first half was key with four goals coming in the opening 30 minutes. Bergamaschi opened the scoring with a good exchange from Dowie and Giacinti before a low shot into the back of the net. Giacinti struck next with a half volley from inside the box with a poor attempted save. Dowie scored third with an easy run and chip over the keeper off Grimshaw’s through ball. New signing Hasegawa capped this off with a top notch free kick tucking in at the first post. Hasegawa scored again in the second half tapping in from a cross. Bari then pulled one goal back from a corner. Giacinti got the final word scoring in the88th minute with an incredible strong shot at the near post capping off a huge win.
