Sempre Milan are reporting that AC Milan’s goalkeeper and vice captain Gianluigi Donnarumma has been fined 10,000 euros for comments he made towards Napoli’s bench in the fixture this past weekend. The keeper was the captain for the game in the frustrating 1-0 loss against his former manager Gennaro Gattuso. After the full time whistle, the keeper was seen shouting at the Napoli staff and making some gestures. According to the verdict from the Sporting Judge, the 10,000 euro fine for ‘threatening and offensive attitude towards the members of the opposing club’s bench.’
This is the second time in 2021 where the keeper has been in an altercation as he was sent off in the Coppa Italia against Torino in the 0-0 game for complaints directed toward the referee when he was on the bench. He has an additional three yellow cards across all competitions with 2 in the UEL and 1 in the league.
