AC Milan had a big opportunity to pull away from the third and fourth place dog fight in the race for the Champions League places as they took on Napoli at the San Siro but the Rossoneri collapsed under pressure and could not rally without any attack to lean on. The injuries really showed in this game as Milan could not create anything up front and Leao showed he cannot handle the pressure as he missed a couple of sitters. Although the team had a bad day in general, the blame must be put onto Theo Hernandez in particular for a shambolic defensive display and an aimless attacking di splay. The goal was predicted prior to the game by us knowing Politano would take advantage of Theo’s poor positioning and laziness to get back and that’s exactly what happened to separate us from them across the 90 minutes. Now the hard part, surviving the onslaught of every club trying to hit us when we are down. Rebic got a silly red, Leao picked up an injury, Kessie and Hakan looked exhausted. We need a response on Thursday!
