AC Milan take on Manchester United in a huge game in the UEFA Europa League tomorrow evening as some of the former heavy weights go head to head on their paths back to glory. Milan have a decimated squad with Mandzukic, Bennacer, Rebic, Hernandez, Ibrahimovic and Calhanoglu all out or in doubt for the game. United also will have a number of absences.
Corriere dello Sport via MilanNews24 are reporting that United may have a number of injuries to deal with for the first leg tomorrow evening in England as Solskjaer may miss out on attacker Marcus Rashford, left back Luke Shaw, midfielder Paul Pogba and striker Edinson Cavani.
Solskjaer spoke to the press via MilanLive.it and said:
“We need to do some calculations between who is well and who is not. He felt something in his ankle when he recovered 70 metres to stop them scoring. This shows the player’s attitude, commitment and spirit of sacrifice. I think it’s the ankle, tests will be done and I’ll talk to the doctor.”
