Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have opened the door to extend the contract of veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for another season which would get the player to 40 years of age playing in one of the top 5 European leagues.

Paolo Maldini has said, “Renewal? He told us it will depend on his body, if he continues like this I don’t see why he can’t be with us again next year.”

Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Ibrahimovic has four goals:

  1. Win the Scudetto
  2. Win the Capocannoniere race
  3. Play in the UEFA Champions League
  4. Play for Sweden in the Euro 2020 (2021)

The idea is that if he stays physically fit, he should remain and achieve his goals over the next two seasons.

Fabrizio Romano citing Maldini's words in the press conference notes that talks with Mino Raiola over another one year renewal will begin in the coming months given how clinical the striker has been this season.

Ibrahimovic has scored a goal every 62 minutes in the Serie A thus far - the best ratio in the league.
