AC Milan Women took on San Marino at the Vismara ground. Milan had a messy first half with a rain soaked pitch. The game was sluggish as a result and the Rossonere were dealt a blow at the 50th minute when Vitale brought down Menin in the box conceding a penalty and Milan went down 1-0. The Rossonere fought back and equalised just 5 minutes later through Spinelli with an incredible long shot. Natasha Dowie thereafter had a magical spell scoring a brace first off a cross from Tucceri Cimini and second off a pass from Vero. The comeback was complete but the Rossonere went further to add one more goal in injury time as Tamborini hit the bottom corner from outside the box to make it 4-1 marking a huge win and a good fight. Milan Women still sit in second place behind Juventus by three points.
