AS Roma Will Miss Key Striker and Captain For AC Milan Clash Amongst Others

Sky Italia via MilanNews.it are reporting that AS Roma will have a key absence against AC Milan tomorrow evening as striker and captain Edin Dzeko picked up an injury in the Europa League on Thursday against Braga ruling him out for about two weeks.

Another report from Il Messaggero via Sempre Milan is noting that Paulo Fonseca could have a defensive crisis on his hands as Chris Smalling, Victor Ibanez and Marash Kumbulla are all doubts due to various injuries. This would leave Roma very depleted in the centre back position leading to an awkward addition of players such as Bryan Cristante staring at centre back again.

Tuttosport via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan will also have some key layers missing as midfielder Ismael Bennacer remains out and striker Mario Mandzukic will also not recover in time for the clash. They are both expected to return against Hellas Verona in a week's time.
