Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan's management met with Gordon Stipic, the agent of Hakan Calhanoglu this past week and still failed to find a solution on his contract renewal. Milan's last offer was reportedly 4 million euros per season on a four year deal. Stipic is apparently pushing for either a higher wage or bonuses which are easily attainable.
Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that optimism continues to filter out on a deal. They are claiming a deal could be struck for 4 million euros per year with 500 thousand in bonuses on a four year deal.
Calcio Mercato are now reporting that the issues around the contract renewal could be affecting Calhanoglu's performances on the pitch as he seems to have stumbled in recent months after a very bright start to the season where he was one of the key players for the first half of the season.
