Milan are in need of some inspiration or at least change to spur a bounce back in the coming weeks.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan could be set for a change in formation after the poor run of form in January and February 2021. The two potential systems seem to be a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 for Stefano Pioli to consider. The changes would largely look to intensify the attacking presence and to shore up the midfield.

Pianeta Milan are reporting that in addition to the 4-4-2, the likely possibilities include a 3-5-2 and a 4-3-1-2. The 3-5-2 would take advantage of the wealth of centre backs in the squad whilst deploying more midfielders. The 4-3-1-2 would be a return to the old style of play with a focus on three central midfielders but also two strikers.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara visited the squad at Milanello yesterday to send a clear message of faith in both the manager and the squad in this rough period.
