MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are awaiting the results for tests on the injuries of centre back Simon Kjaer and trequartista Brahim Diaz as the duo picked up injuries in the derby last week. Kjaer and Diaz both seem to having issues with their left thigh. There is a weekly check up scheduled. It is unlikely to see either of them back in action this weekend against Crotone but the definitive timeline for return is unknown.
Meanwhile, Hakan Calhanoglu is finally expected to return to the first team after a few weeks out with the coronavirus and will be a massive boost to the squad. The Turkey international is the key creative outlet in the squad and has been missed in January.
