Tuttosport via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan will look to bring back their on loan midfielder Tommaso Pobega back to the San Siro after his impressive displays with Spezia over the course of the season. Pobega is a Primavera product who has been out on loan multiple times in Serie B and Serie C with the likes of Pordenone and Ternana respectively and finally got a taste of tier 1 football. The young central midfielder has played 14 games for Spezia in the league scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists thus far.
Paolo Maldini and Risky Massara are reportedly convinced by the midfielder and want him to join the rotation at the San Siro. The 21 year old is on a loan with an option to buy with Spezia but Milan still have a buy back clause which they will exercise if Spezia pull the trigger. Stefano Pioli would have a stacked midfielder for the new season as Sandro Tonali will likely be redeemed and will still have Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Rade Krunic but also Soualiho Meite.
