On Friday, AC Milan confirmed that they’ve signed the young Lithuanian forward, Rimantė Jonušaitė. The player comes to the Rossonere from Lithuania, where she had previously played with FK Gintra. The player has both Champions League and international experience, as she has participated in both competitions with her former club team, and for Lithuania. The Rossonere continue to invest in their youth project signing more players to join the Primavera side in recent months.
Jonušaitė will most likely be a reinforcement for the Primavera squad while playing for the senior team on occasion. Though she’s only 18-years-old, she has scored an impressive 13 goals throughout her career and has scored six goals so far this year.
She’ll also have some familiarity with the Italian players, given that she suited up for Lithuania against Italy during their Women’s World Cup qualifier.
Rimantė is a burgeoning young talent and will be a welcome reinforcement for the Rossonere.
Let's all welcome Rimantė Jonušaitė!
