MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan could face a left back crisis this weekend in the derby dell Madonnina against Inter Milan as the starter Theo Hernandez is suspended while the back up Fode Ballo-Toure is struggling with an injury. Hernandez picked up a red card in the previous league game against AS Roma which rules him out. Ballo-Toure is still facing some discomfort in his ankle following the horrific tackle by Roberto Soriano in the match against Bologna about a week and a half ago.
Daniele Longo is reporting that Ballo-Toure did not take part in the training session with the team on Tuesday and was not called up for the match against FC Porto yesterday so some concerns remain about the condition of the player. There has been not confirmation from the club on his return.
Ballo-Toure has 6 appearances in the league and 2 in the Champions League thus far. He has started 4 of those games but is yet to contribute a goal nor an assist.
