The duo silenced the fans at the end of the game by taking all three points but action is necessary against the club and those fans.

AC Milan played at the Stadio Olimpico last night and beat AS Roma 2-1 to shatter the home unbeaten run. Two Milan players were the subject of racist abuse from the Roma fans and both those players happened to score to bury Jose Mourinho’s side.

Guillaume MP reported that Milan’s striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic received jeers after his goal but the Roma fans had been chanting “Sei uno zingaro” which translates to “You are a gypsy” at the 40 year old. The Swede scored a lovely free kick and gestured at the crowd to raise their voices even more which got him booked by referee Maresca for ‘provocation.’

MilanNews.it are reporting that Franck Kessie also received racist abuse from the Roma fans in the second half when he committed a foul and received a yellow card. The fans directed monkey chants at the Ivory Coast international.

It remains to be seen if the disciplinary action is taken against the club and it’s fans as this has been an issue seen in multiple games this season already.
