AC Milan faced AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico last night and came away with an incredible 2-1 victory despite having the cards stacked against them in the second half. Milan went through following an exemplary performance from a 40 year old Zlatan Ibrahimovic who scored the opener, had a stunning goal disallowed for offside and won a penalty which Franck Kessie converted for 2-0. Rafael Leao show Roma disrespect as he humiliated Rui Patricio lobbing him and scoring with ease but it was ruled offside due to the build up play. Jose Mourinho continued with his usual antics, crying and screaming all across the touchline despite Milan being hard done with soft yellow cards from the referee Maresca and receiving a red card as Theo Hernandez was sent off. Milan conceded after the referee gave 6 minutes of additional time as Stephan El Shaarawy scored a messy rebound inside the box as Alessio Romagnoli poorly cleared the ball. Milan come away with a huge three points and begin a tough week on the right foot.
