Fiorentina Striker Will Not Renew and AC Milan Have Small Opportunity To Pounce

Milan need to plan for the future as Ibrahimovic and Giroud can only carry the team so far given their advanced ages.

MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have a golden opportunity to secure their striking future with Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina as the Serbia international will not be renewing his contract with the club which expires in 2023. The club’s President Rocco Commisso declared that their offer was turned down and now the vultures are beginning to circle for the 21 year old striker who has 35 goals for La Viola in 92 games.

Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanLive.it are reporting that Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are leading the race to sign the striker in the coming transfer windows ahead of his contract expiry but also note that Inter Milan have a slim chance. Juventus are the likeliest destination in Italy but Milan would do well to make him the striker post Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The asking price for the striker is currently placed at a round 90 million euros but it is likely he will be sold for around 50-60 million euros similarly to Federico Chiesa given the public nature of the collapse of contract talks.
