MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are looking to open contract renewal talks with manager Stefano Pioli as good results continue to arrive with him at the helm and the growth of the young players is evident. Pioli has led the club for 97 games with 54 wins, 25 draws and 18 losses.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Pioli has grown into an incredible manager over his time with the Rossoneri despite not receiving a warm welcome at the start. Pioli received a contract renewal in July 2020 for two years which expires at the end of the current season. When he signed that contract, reports stated that there was an option to extend the deal by a further year. He earns 2 million euros per year on his current deal. The report notes the contacts will be initiated over a new deal in the coming weeks but a final decision will be taken toward the end of the season when the results can be clearly assessed.
