AC Milan Sponsorship Revenue Increases BY 17 Million Euros Between 2019/20 and 2020/21

Milan are growing significantly in the commercial aspects of the game under the new management and results can be seen year or year.

MilanNews.it are reporting on the financial accounts from the shareholders meeting of AC Milan this past wee. An interesting story has come to light around the actual numbers on sponsorships. We have seen Ivan Gazidis and Casper Stylsvig work tirelessly to boost this side of the revenue with numerous partnerships and now we can attach numbers to this.

The value of sponsorship revenue in the 2019/20 season was 36.6 million euros. The value in the 2020-21 season despite COVID-19 was 54 million euros. This marks are 17.4 million euros increase despite difficult circumstances.

Of that 54 million euros, €14.2m came from Emirates as principal sponsor, €13.1 from PUMA as technical sponsor, €26m from deals with other commercial partners and €650k from other deals. The €26m pot includes all the names we have seen popping up including Fratelli Beretta, Socios, Skrill, A2A Energia, Banco BPM, Dazn, Tianyu Technology, Electronic Arts, Giuliani, La Molisana, Royal Forex, Snaitech, Star Casino and Trenitalia.
