Official: AC Milan Women Sign Midfielder From Maccabi Emek Hefer

AC Milan have officially announced on their website the signing of midfielder Noa Selimhodzic from Maccabi Emek Hefer. The Israeli midfielder has signed a contract with Milan until 30 June 2024 and will wear the number 17 shirt.

Selimhodzic came through the youth system of Maccabi Netanya and has been playing for Maccabi Emek Hefer following her promotion from the youth academy. According to the IFA, Selimhodzic scored 36 goals in the previous two seasons helping her team to fourth place finishes in the league in both seasons.

She has been capped 7 times by the Israeli national team playing in the Euro and World Cup qualifiers. The 18 year old will likely start off with the youth team of the Rossonere but will quickly be integrated into the first team. Milan launched a youth side for the women’s team for the first time this season and has begun funnelling talent through a development pipeline there to make the first team more sustainable in the long term.
