AC Milan faced Torino at the San Siro and came away with a 1-0 win in a cagey affair. Ciprian Tatarusanu managed to pick up his first clean sheet of the campaign since taking over for Mike Maignan.

Sandro Tonali whipped in a scrumptious cross from the corner in the 14th minute which curled out for Rade Krunic who guided it to the back post where Olivier Giroud was agile enough to pounce for the ball and tap it into the back of the net to make it 1-0 for the Rossoneri. Giroud equalled Mario Balotelli run of scoring in each of his first three games at the San Siro as the Frenchman picked up his fourth goal of the season in just six appearances.

Milan were rash in the first half as Stefano Pioli’s men picked up unnecessary bookings with Alessio Romagnoli in the 10th minute and Pierre Kalulu in 34th minute which forced them both to be withdrawn at half time.
