Wilfried Singo vs Fode Ballo-Toure

Singo was a target for the Rossoneri last summer and for a good reason. The defender is speedy coming down that right wing and it extremely tricky when cutting in to cross. He will be facing Ballo-Toure who has grown in recent games and also has similar charactersistics with his immense pace but is not very physical. Both side have striker with good heading ability thus the wing back who can better deliver balls into the middle will be a huge support for their side.

Cristian Ansaldi vs Alexis Saelemaekers

On the opposite wing there is the battle of youth and experience as Saelemaekers returns following some difficult games to replace Castillejo and he goes up against Ansaldi who has taken up an attacking role this season. Ansaldi has three assists thus far this season and has been pretty good in defence too. He will be pestering Saelemaekers and limiting his space on that right wing but also has the possibility to burst forth on the counter attacks.

Sandro Tonali vs Tommaso Pobega

A good ol’ head to head of Milan midfielders. Pobega was allowed to leave on loan where he has thrived in Turin and will now look to spoil our party as he takes on Tonali in the midfield battle. Pobega has been lethal with his late runs into the box and has been the catalyst for Torino’s attack with his quick passing and good vision to push his team forward. Milan will rely heavily on Tonali’s passing to break the lines and get into the final third.
