MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have three players back this week as Theo Hernandez, Franck Kessie and Pietro Pellegri took part in training this morning as well as yesterday. Stefano Pioli can breathe a sigh of relief to get some players back as he lost yet another player in the weekend encounter against Bologna as Samu Castillejo was withdrawn at half time with a seeming muscle issue. Kessie has overcome the flue, Hernandez has got past the coronavirus and Pellegri has beaten his fatigue to return to the group training ahead of the Serie A game against Torino tomorrow night.
It seems unlikely that any of the players above start the game given Fode Ballo-Toure’s improvement and the good synergy between Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali. The players could come off the bench in the second half of the game. Ante Rebic remains out with an ankle issue and he will continue to be monitored day by day until a return is possible.
