AC Milan are stuck in an injury crisis once again which exposed the gaps in depth against FC Porto in the midweek. The Rossoneri currently have nine players out with illness or injury for the weekend fixture. Stefano Pioli has discussed the condition of multiple players during his press conference ahead of the Bologna clash via MilanNews.it:

On Kessie:[He] had a strong flu and will be out tomorrow.”

On Rebic: “No, he tried but he still has pain in his ankle.”

On Giroud and Ibrahimovic: “Ibra needs to train and play. He has been training in a group for a week. His playing time will be increasing, I still have to decide who will start between him and Giroud. The current condition of Ibra and Giroud does not allow us to play with the two strikers, when they are well they can play together.”

On Pellegri: “Pellegri had a small problem and he won’t be there tomorrow.”
