MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are starting to plan for a post-Ibrahimovic future given that both the Swede and Giroud have already missed large spells of the season thus far. Milan have weighed up a move for Torino captain Andrea Belotti for a while now and the experienced striker will be available on a free transfer this summer as long as he does not renew in the coming eight months. The striker is 28 years old hence would possibly be out of the scope of Elliot’s project.

MilanNews.it are separately reporting that Milan have opened a dialogue for this move. There are some exploratory contacts to see what the options are for Belotti.

Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan could possibly attempt to sign him for a cut-rate price in January as a boost for the squad. Torino would be open to this at the moment as they would prefer not to lose the striker for free given his prowess.
